Complete the client’s consultation and treatment record before commencing.
Assess:
* Skin type
* Hydration level
* Sebum production
* Congestion
* Comedones
* Sensitivity/reactivity
* Redness
* Pigmentation
* Texture
* Current skincare routine
* Recent professional treatments
* Current active ingredients
* Allergies and sensitivities
Do not proceed if appropriate contraindications are identified
Examples include:
* Active skin infection
* Open wounds or broken skin
* Significant inflammation or irritation
* Active cold sores in the treatment area
* Known allergy to any ingredient
* Recent aggressive resurfacing treatment
* Recent waxing/threading where the skin remains compromised

2. PRE-TREATMENT PREPARATION

* Lukewarm water

Ensure all equipment and surfaces are clean and appropriately prepared.

3. STEP ONE — DOUBLE CLEANSE
Product
Peppermint Green Tea Cleansing Balm
First cleanse
Apply a small amount to dry skin.
Massage gently over:
* Forehead
* Cheeks
* Nose
* Chin
* Jawline
Pay particular attention to areas with makeup, SPF and surface impurities.
Add a small amount of warm water to emulsify.
Remove thoroughly with damp, warm facial sponges or mitts.
Second cleanse
Apply a second small amount and massage using gentle circular movements.
Work for approximately 1–2 minutes, avoiding excessive friction.
Remove thoroughly.
Treatment objective: Remove surface impurities and prepare the skin for subsequent treatment steps.

4. STEP TWO — SKIN ANALYSIS
With the skin clean, reassess the skin under good lighting.
Determine whether the client requires:
Clarifying pathway
For suitable congested/oily areas.
Gentle pathway
For dehydrated, sensitive or easily reactive areas.
The treatment should be adjusted to the client’s skin condition rather than automatically applying every active step at maximum intensity.

5. STEP THREE — CANDY CANE GREEN TEA EXFOLIANT
Product
Candy Cane Green Tea Exfoliant
This contains sucrose alongside peppermint oil, green tea powder and nourishing oils.
Apply a thin, even layer to the appropriate areas.
Gently massage using light circular movements.
Recommended massage
Approximately 1–2 minutes, avoiding:
* Eye area
* Lips
* Broken skin
* Inflamed lesions
Remove thoroughly with lukewarm water.
Professional note
Do not use aggressive mechanical pressure. The objective is to provide controlled surface exfoliation rather than create erythema through friction.

6. STEP FOUR — PEPPERMINT WINE PEEL
Product
Peppermint Wine Peel – 50ml
This is the professional active treatment stage.
Because the exact peel acid system, concentration the validated contact time is 5-10 minutes maximum
Application
1. Ensure the skin is completely clean and appropriately prepared.
2. Protect sensitive areas as required by the peel’s professional instructions.
3. Apply the prescribed quantity evenly.
4. Avoid the eye contour, lips, nostrils and compromised skin.
5. Monitor the skin continuously.
6. Follow the specified contact time exactly.
7. Thoroughly remove with water
Stop immediately if there is
* Excessive burning
* Significant pain
* Marked swelling
* Rapidly developing intense erythema
* Any unexpected reaction
Do not extend peel contact time to increase results.

7. STEP FIVE — GREEN TEA TONER
Product
Green Tea Toner
Apply gently using cotton pads or suitable facial gauze.
Avoid vigorous rubbing.
Allow the skin to settle before continuing.
Because this toner contains salicylic acid, assess tolerance carefully following the peel and do not automatically apply it after every peel treatment if the combined acid exposure would be inappropriate.
For a sensitive/reactive client, the toner can be omitted or substituted with a suitable bland post-peel product according to the treatment plan.

8. STEP SIX — GREEN TEA FACE MASK
Product
Green Tea Face Mask
Ingredients:
* Kaolin
* Camellia Sinensis Leaf Powder
Mixing ratio
Mix:
1 part powder : 1 part water
Prepare only the amount required for the treatment.
Mix until a smooth, uniform paste is obtained.
Application
Apply an even layer with a clean mask brush.
Avoid:
* Eye area
* Lips
* Broken skin
Leave for approximately 10 minutes, or according to your validated professional treatment protocol.
Do not allow the mask to become excessively dry and cracked on the skin.
Remove gently with lukewarm water.
Discard any unused mixed mask.

Apply the Botanical Treatment Mask
Apply an even layer over the face, avoiding the eye and lip area.
