In the cosmetics industry there are only 3 types of ‘ingredients’

Pharmaceutical grade

Cosmetic grade

Food grade

‘Medical grade’ doesn’t exist. It’s false advertising for clients.

"Clinically Proven"

Ask:

• Proven to do what?

• What clinic?

• Compared to what?

• In how many people?

• Over how long?

Can the provider evidence?

"Dermatologist Approved”

This can mean:

• One dermatologist

• Paid or unpaid

• No clinical testing required

It does not equal peer-reviewed research

• it just means a company got at least one dermatologist to say yes.

Had nothing to do with efficacy or safety.
